We’ll read about kites, how they are made, and how they fly. We'll make our own simple kite to fly!
Supplies to have on hand: A few pieces of paper (colorful is nice), a wooden skewer or cheap wooden chopstick, coloring supplies, a stapler, tape, a hand-held hole punch (or scissors to carefully punch a hole), and string. (The dollar store is a good source for string. Thread or yarn will do in a pinch.)
Register to participate and you will receive an email with a link with instructions on how to participate before the event. Only one registration per family/computer is necessary.
Technology requirements: You will need a device or computer with an internet connection and the Chrome browser, microphone and speakers to participate.
