Are you working on a writing project, or interested in starting one? Want to learn some tips and tricks for creative writing of all sorts? Come write with us! Join the Hive’s Writer-In Residence, Jenny Davis, for a write-in on the first Wednesday of the month. We’ll supply prompts, exercises to defeat writer’s block and pump up your literary muscles, plus dedicated time to write. This casual writing program is designed for adults and teens, and meets at The Hive. If you have a favorite notebook or laptop you like to write on, bring that, otherwise we’ll supply paper and a variety of writing utensils (plus a whole lot of inspiration and encouragement.)
About Jenny: Jenny specializes in creative non-fiction and is spending her time at The Hive working on a series of essays. She’s a writing consultant and coach with an MFA from the University of Iowa, and currently teaches English at Gonzaga University.
Registration is not required (feel free to drop-in last minute) but registering will give Jenny a sense of how many people to expect (and you'll get an email reminder of the program).
