Learn how to make Lefse - a traditional Norwegian flatbread - just in time for the holidays! Presented by Sons of Norway's Tordenskjold Lodge.
Lefse (lef-suh) is a traditional Norwegian flatbread made from cooked potatoes, flour, butter, and cream. The dough is rolled very thin using a patterned wooden rolling pin, then lifted with a long stick and transferred to a hot griddle where it is cooked for a few minutes. It is served warm with butter and cinnamon sugar. At this demonstration, you'll be able to try your hand at rolling the dough and taste what we make.
