The Spokane Regional Opioid Task Force would like to bring community members together who are grieving a loss of a loved one or a person in recovery or a person looking for support for a day of healing and connection. Through this event community members will be able to share their loved one's talents by showcasing their arts, crafts, music, poems. There will be a guest speaker to talk about effects of substance misuse and why to have Narcan readily available. The event will have resources tables with community organizations sharing their resources. There will be fun activities such as, lantern making community members can design a paper lantern in memory of their loved one or to celebrate their recovery.
By attending library programs, you are agreeing to potentially appear in photos/videos taken at our locations that may be used in promotional materials including social media.
