Brian Deemy, Artist-In-Residence at The Hive®, discusses the history of the photographic process, its various methods, and the process of using them in the modern era.
Brian Deemy specializes in alternative format photography. His images depict scenes characterized by their influence from art history, science, religion, and mythology. These images are made in a variety of processes spanning the full gamut of photographic history.
During this talk, you'll learn about Brian's process and a lot of photography history. Brian will focus on how the historical processes can meet the modern era. He'll also show and share about his collection of antique cameras.
You can see more of Brian's work on his website, Light and Labor.
