Medicare Open Enrollment: What You Need To Know

Attend an unbiased presentation to learn about Medicare and the Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors (SHIBA) program. Topics include choosing and changing plans, Medigaps, and Medicare fraud.

With open enrollment just around the corner, you’re invited to attend a free, unbiased presentation about Medicare Open Enrollment where you’ll learn about Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage plans, who is eligible, and what options are available to consumers. You’ll also find out about:

• What you can do during Medicare OEP
• Choosing and changing plans
• What Medigaps are and how they work
• See if you qualify for any programs to help you pay for Medicare
• Medicare Fraud

Statewide Health Insurance Benefit Advisors (SHIBA) is a free, unbiased service of the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner.  SHIBA can help you research, assess and evaluate what options work best for you and your needs, so you can make an informed decision.
