South Hill EventsJoin Levi Horn in this interactive gathering centered on cultural reclamation and shared heritage, with insights into Native culture.
Levi Horn is a registered member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe. He grew up in Spokane's Hillyard neighborhood and is a former NFL player. He will guide you through a unique Native American Heritage Month event that consists of three parts that are all open to the audience's participation:
Ceremony & Connection: Experience a welcoming opening circle where participants are invited to share traditions, reflection, and stories.
Cultural Discovery: Gain insights into your own roots, heritage, and lineage.
Storytelling: Hear firsthand about Levi’s transition from Hillyard to the NFL and the cultural identity that guided his path.
Whether you are seeking to reconnect with your own ancestry or listen to powerful local perspectives, this circle is open to all. Bring your open heart and your stories.
This event may be longer than one hour depending on the level of participation.
By attending library programs, you are agreeing to potentially appear in photos/videos taken at our locations that may be used in promotional materials including social media.
We strive to make events welcoming for people of all abilities. To request accommodations (i.e. hearing assistance, ASL requests, or other ADA inquiries), email sday@spokanelibrary.org.
