Shadle Park EventsJoin KSPS PBS staff for a special Super Why! screening, fun activities, and storybooks!
Reading is a superpower! SUPER WHY! helps young children build the early literacy skills they need to become confident readers through stories, favorite characters, and playful problem-solving. Each episode focuses on an important reading skill, helping children explore letters, sounds, words, spelling, and story comprehension. Families can keep the learning going beyond the screen with SUPER WHY! games, activities, and storybooks that give young readers even more opportunities to practice through play.
Join KSPS PBS for our PBS KIDS Watch & Play event! Families will enjoy SUPER WHY! together and take part in fun, hands-on literacy activities inspired by the program. It’s a playful way for parents and children to explore reading together and discover that every child can have the power to become a reader!
