Shadle Park StudioWe will discuss how to form a cohesive healthcare team, how to get the best care from a primary care doctor and how to advocate for a loved one who has dementia.
Geared toward both unpaid caregivers and healthcare workers, this series is a monthly, in-depth exploration of many topics related to dementia. Topics include effective communication strategies, understanding and responding to dementia behaviors, a strengths-based approach to dementia behaviors and emergency situations.
This is presented by the Spokane Regional Dementia Friendly Community and Aging & Long Term Care of Eastern Washington.
