Join us for a hands-on composting demonstration using a 3-bin composting system! This event takes place in the Indian Trail Library Garden and is a part of our opening-day activities!
Have you heard of 3-bin composting system? Learn from WSU Spokane County Master Gardeners as they showcase how to use a 3-bin composting system like the one we've started at Indian Trail Library! As part of our new Bird Garden and Pollinator Meadow, we've implemented a 3-bin compost system supplied by the Master Gardener Foundation of Spokane County under a grant from the Washington State Department of Ecology. This will be a community compost system to reduce the amount of organic material that goes to the landfill. It is an effort to help the community to compost what they can from their gardens and homes!
