Summer Reading Club Event for Ages 6-18 & their Caregivers

Liberty Park EventsHave you ever wanted to separate the colors in a marker? Come join local scientists and learn how to separate the rainbow of colors around us. This event is for kids ages 9-18, and 6-8 with an adult.
Color chromatography uses the six steps of the scientific method to discover the contents of household markers and flowers. Ever wonder if dogs see differently than humans? Have you ever wanted to separate the colors in a marker? Come join local scientists and learn how to separate the rainbow of colors all around us. A demonstration AND active hands-on experiment will be provided for attendees.
Participants will be provided with worksheets to take home and instructions on how to do this experiment at home.
This program is intended for kids ages 9-18, and 6-8 with an adult.
