We are planting one pepper plant for every letter of the alphabet in the Shadle Park Library Discovery Garden! We will discuss ways to grow, use, and preserve peppers and seeds!
Ready to expand your pepper knowledge beyond bells, poblanos, jalapenos, and Big Jims? Learn about the Scoville Heat Scale for spicy peppers and the large variety of sweet peppers available to home gardeners. Part of the class will be spent in the garden planting the peppers as Master Gardener and Garden4You founder Rebecca Jensen explains each variety, its heat scale, characteristic and care!
By attending library programs, you are agreeing to potentially appear in photos/videos taken at our locations that may be used in promotional materials including social media.
