"Investigating Instructions" uses the six steps of the scientific method to discover the interesting mishaps that occur with communication. Come join Science Speaks Spokane and learn how word choice during instructions leads to unexpected outcomes. A demonstration AND active hands-on experiment will be provided for attendees. Participants will be provided with worksheets to take home and instructions on how to do this experiment at home.
Children under age 9 should have a caregiver to assist in the learning.
Children under 6 will be offered age-appropriate activities such as coloring and quiet toys.
