Shadle Park ClassroomIt can be difficult for someone with dementia to stop driving. We will discuss driving alternatives, how to have this difficult conversation, and tips for traveling with someone with dementia.
Geared toward both unpaid caregivers and healthcare workers, this series is a monthly, in-depth exploration of many topics related to dementia. Topics include effective communication strategies, understanding and responding to dementia behaviors, a strengths-based approach to dementia behaviors and emergency situations.
This is presented by the Spokane Regional Dementia Friendly Community and Aging & Long Term Care of Eastern Washington.
