Join us for a very special storytime with Caldecott Honoree, Christian Robinson.
From Christian Robinson, #1 New York Times bestseller, Caldecott Honoree, and one of the most recognizable picture book creators of this generation, comes a loving tribute to all kinds of dads.
Auntie’s Bookstore and the Spokane Public Library are overjoyed to welcome Christian back to Spokane! We hope you are just as excited as we are and that you’ll join us for a special storytime with the author. While this new book is a celebration of dads and we encourage you fathers to bring your kiddos to the storytime, moms and other caregivers are welcome to join too!
This event is free to attend and open to the public. In order to join the autograph line, DAD must be purchased from Auntie’s.
DAD releases on May 12th, and you are welcome to pre-order the book at auntiesbooks.com. Auntie’s will have copies of DAD and Christian’s other work available for sale at the event.
ABOUT THE BOOK:
Dad is strong.
Dad is sweet.
Dad dreams of watching you grow…
There are as many ways to be a dad as there are dads in the world. Dad is a big-hearted love letter to all of them, reflecting the range of relationships that dads, both animal and human, have with their little ones. Dad is destined to be a classic, an evergreen gift for new fathers, and one of those rare picture books that resonates with every reader at any age.
