Looking for something fun, new and different? Join us for this beginning level and beyond Egyptian style Belly Dance class.
Movement, music, culture and history weave a fascinating tapestry of rhythm, entrancing melody and expressive dance. We will cover movement basics of Egyptian style Raks Sharki (Belly Dance) and other folk dances such as Beledi, Saidi, and Nubian.
This dance provides gentle core toning, improves balance, posture, and confidence. Class includes warm up, dance technique and routines, rhythms, music, and cultural notes. Come have fun learning Belly Dance with an experienced teacher. Wear work out or yoga clothes. Sparkly hip sashes available to use during class.
