The Spokane region's long-range transportation plan.
This event is an opportunity for the public to learn more about their transportation system and what is projected to be in store for the next 20 years. As the long range transportation planning agency, the Spokane Regional Transportation Council (SRTC) creates a long range plan that contains future transportation projects, priorities and studies that serve as a blueprint for the region moving forward. During the program, attendees will learn more about who SRTC is, what this plan entails and how it affects them. Attendees will also have the opportunity to provide input on what transportation investments are important to them and their community and ask questions. We plan to invite other jurisdictions, such as transportation planners from the city of Spokane, to attend to provide information and answer questions. The format will be part presentation and part interactive/Q&A with an activity to get people to share their thoughts.
