Join the Inland Empire Bonsai Society to learn the history, range of species and styles, and horticulture of bonsai.
Bonsai is the combination of art and horticulture to grow and display nature in miniature using a wide variety of woody plants. This program will briefly discuss the history, range of species and styles, and horticulture of bonsai. In addition to pictures of high-quality bonsai, a variety of bonsai at various stages of development will be on hand since it is really a 3-dimensional art form. The program is scheduled for an hour, but there will be time afterwards for further discussion. Presented by the Inland Empire Bonsai Society.
