We'll observe the annular eclipse together either in person, or via livestream, and do astronomy activities together! Drop by anytime between 8-11am.
Solar eclipses occur when the moon blocks some or all of the sun's light from falling on a particular path along earth's surface. On Saturday, October 14 from about 8-11am, an exciting partial annular solar eclipse will occur that will be partly visible here in the Inland Northwest.
Since this event begins before the library opens, please enter the building through the east door, the door closest to the parking lot, and come straight to the events room.
By attending library programs, you are agreeing to potentially appear in photos/videos taken at our locations that may be used in promotional materials including social media.
We strive to make events welcoming for people of all abilities. To request accommodations (i.e. hearing assistance, ASL requests, or other ADA inquiries), call the library at 509-444-5340.
