A poetry workshop that uses the five senses to inspire fresh writing. This event is part of the Inland Northwest Poetry Salon.
Presenting varied sources that entice the senses (including visual, tactile, and olfaction), celebrated poet Amelia Díaz Ettinger will offer opportunities for the audience to write and generate poetry that elevates the senses through prompts and readings and experimentation.

About the presenter: Amelia Díaz Ettinger is a Latinx BIPOC poet and writer currently residing in Eastern Oregon. She has five books of poetry, and her poems and short stories can be found in many anthologies, literary magazines, and periodicals. She has an MS in Biology and an MFA in creative writing.
