Join Spokane’s creative community for a free morning talk on the theme “Punk” with coffee, breakfast, creative inspiration at Spokane Central Library.
Join us for the very first CreativeMornings Spokane event, hosted at the Spokane Central Library! Each month, CreativeMornings chapters around the globe explore a shared theme… and this month, it's PUNK.
Expect a lively, welcoming atmosphere filled with art, ideas, and community. We'll kick things off with local coffee, breakfast snacks, before diving into a 20-minute talk from a bold, local creative who embodies the spirit of rebellion and authenticity.
While you're here, explore what makes the Spokane Central Library such a creative powerhouse. From its podcast and music-recording studios to video lab, creative tools for checkout, and The Hive®, a vibrant space for artists and makers, Spokane Public Library loves to support creatives!
This event is free and open to all adults. Registration is required/strongly encouraged. Bring your curiosity, community spirit, and a friend (but ask your friend to register also).
About CreativeMornings:
CreativeMornings is the world’s largest creative community; hosting local chapter events in cities around the world every Friday, Virtual FieldTrips every week, and job postings and company profiles via the CreativeGuild. In 2008, Tina Roth Eisenberg (Swissmiss) started CreativeMornings out of a desire for an ongoing, accessible event for New York’s creative community. The concept was simple: breakfast and a short talk one Friday morning a month. Every event would be free of charge and open to anyone.
Today, attendees gather in cities around the world and online via Virtual FieldTrips to enjoy creative inspiration and meaningful connections.
Our volunteer hosts and their teams organize local chapters that not only celebrate their city’s creative talent but also create an open space to connect with other big-hearted individuals.
By attending library programs, you are agreeing to potentially appear in photos/videos taken at our locations that may be used in promotional materials including social media.
We strive to make events welcoming for people of all abilities. To request accommodations (i.e. hearing assistance, ASL requests, or other ADA inquiries), email sday@spokanelibrary.org.
