Join the party to do fun activities and learn about the Game Quest reading challenge with the library and KSPS PBS!
Jump into the fun at this special Game Quest Kickoff event! Families with kids ages 2–14 are invited to explore hands-on learning stations featuring puzzles, literacy games, and creative challenges—plus pick up everything needed to start your Game Quest adventure. Presented in partnership with KSPS PBS, this free event is a playful, engaging way to spark a love of reading, problem-solving, and exploration.
This festive event launches the season of Game Quest, a reading and activity tracking adventure that encourages kids to explore books, complete challenges, and earn fun rewards. At the kickoff, families can register for the program, collect their official Game Quest materials, and preview the types of activities they’ll complete throughout the season. It’s a great way to get inspired, meet other families, and jumpstart a love of learning—with the library as your launchpad!
