Enjoy printmaking demonstrations, purchase prints for sale, browse print displays from a variety of incredible print artists & meet the Artists-In-Residence at The Hive®.
Printmaking comes in many forms, from intaglio to relief (and creative blends of both), but the basics have stayed surprisingly similar for over 4,000 years. At this lively kickoff to Print Fest, you’ll get a hands-on introduction to the art of print!
Watch live demos, try printing for yourself, explore displays from talented artists, and shop one-of-a-kind prints to take home. Plus, don’t miss your chance to win fun door prizes!
Stick around to close out the day with a special screening of Reinaldo Gil Zambrano’s short documentary Impressions of Resistance at 6pm.
