Explore the natural world and create a journal to save and record your observations.
Early school-age children are invited to create unique nature journals using a mix of art supplies, recycled materials and natural items. Together we'll engage with the sights, sounds, smells and textures of our ecosystem and record our discoveries along the way. Each participant will be able to create a journal of their own for continued use after the program. Participants are welcome to bring natural materials such as pressed flowers and dried leaves, but all necessary supplies will be provided.
By attending library programs, you are agreeing to potentially appear in photos/videos taken at our locations that may be used in promotional materials including social media.
We strive to make events welcoming for people of all abilities. To request accommodations, call the library at 509-444-5308.
