Writer and artist Diane Sherman will read from her new book and demonstrate in a fun and creative environment how to write with abandon.
Join Diane Sherman for a reading from her new memoir, In Borrowed Shoes. Her short vignettes will make you laugh, cry, and remember your own fallible, very human moments. Her stories help us all laugh at ourselves and not take ourselves so seriously, and they show how we are more alike than not.
Diane will also share a bit about her writing process and the creation of the book. She’s also going to walk you through some writing exercises, so you, too, can write down what wants to be said. Be sure to bring a pen and something to write on. It will be a fun, creative afternoon you won’t want to miss. You can read about Diane and her memoir in The Inlander.
