A generative and monstrous writing workshop for all ages.

Local novelist and Writing Education Specialist Sharma Shields will give a fun, generative writing workshop where kids, teens, and adults alike can craft their own original monster stories. We'll start out the workshop by discussing some of our favorite monsters from literature. This will be an exciting and generative writing workshop for the whole family!

By attending library programs, you are agreeing to potentially appear in photos/videos taken at our locations that may be used in promotional materials including social media.

We strive to make events welcoming for people of all abilities. To request accommodations (i.e. hearing assistance, ASL requests, or other ADA inquiries), call the library at 509-444-5340.
