Exploring the role connection plays in our total wellness, this workshop offers practical tools, tips on how to connect with others, communities and ourselves for a renewed sense of purpose and joy.
Join Jessica and Darren Salquist for this session exploring the role of human connection plays in our spiritual and whole-person wellbeing. Connection is more than a social nicety — it’s the invisible thread that weaves meaning, belonging, and vitality into our lives. This workshop invites you to slow down, tune in, and rediscover in today's fast paced world what it means to truly connect — with yourself, with others, and with life itself.
Grounded in the latest science of well-being and human flourishing, we’ll explore how micro-moments of warmth and presence profoundly shape our emotional and physical health. Building on Barbara Fredrickson’s concept of positivity resonance, we’ll uncover how fleeting yet sincere exchanges — a shared laugh, a kind word, a moment of eye contact — can literally rewire the nervous system for resilience, empathy, and joy. Through reflective exercises, guided meditations, and interactive activities, you’ll discover practical ways to strengthen your capacity for connection in everyday life. By the end of our time together, you’ll have new tools, fresh insights, and a renewed sense of purpose rooted in love and humanity.
