We will discuss the warning signs of dementia, then focus on how to start the conversation about dementia with someone you think may have some signs. We will also go over the process for diagnosis.
Geared toward both unpaid caregivers and healthcare workers, this series is a monthly, in-depth exploration of many topics related to dementia. Topics include effective communication strategies, understanding and responding to dementia behaviors, a strengths-based approach to dementia behaviors and emergency situations.
This is presented by the Spokane Regional Dementia Friendly Community and Aging & Long Term Care of Eastern Washington.
