Artist-In-Residence Megan Perkins will be talking about her latest art project exploring the history, mythology, geology, & tall tales of the INW. She is also seeking story inspiration from YOU!
The Hive® Artist-In-Residence, Megan Perkins, is spending her residency working on a project exploring the history, mythology, geology, and majesty of the Inland Northwest landscape via her paintings. The region is full of such incredible drama in the form of the Missoula Flood landscape, the scablands, and Palouse as well as the stories of the people who inhabited this place. She is soliciting family legends, “tall tales”, and stories of beloved places from the public in the hopes of finding inspiration to incorporate in her work.
