A two-and-and-half-hour writing workshop with celebrated author Sarah Conover addressing the tender terrain of grief.
Although grief has a life of its own—sometimes hidden, sometimes numb, sometimes raw and painful—a grief story is always a love story. Writing uses a part of the brain that is offline in our day-to-day activities, but which can allow grief to discover its own voice, be better understood and metabolized in our lives. Sarah will provide prompts to generate your words while providing a safe space for an exploration of writing’s ability to transform your relationship to grief and loss.
