About Spokane Arts: Spokane Arts supports arts and culture in the region through grantmaking, programming, advocacy, and professional development. We foster creativity by providing direct support to individuals, groups, and organizations in the creative sector, and we promote local arts and culture to the wider community.
About the City of Spokane Arts Commission: This group of citizen volunteers appointed by the mayor and approved by City Council meets monthly. Their mission statement/purpose: The Spokane Arts Commission's purpose is promoting and enhancing the quality, accessibility and presence of the arts in Spokane.
