Join us for an interactive workshop where will we discuss how countries have confronted legacies of violence and then collaborate on facing America's past and creating a thriving future for all.
What does it mean for a country to “come to terms” with its past?
Come collaborate with two of the Hive’s Writers-In-Residence, Inga Laurent and Kelsey Kamitomo and share your ideas in helping to answer this question.
This interactive workshop is part of Inga and Kelsey’s collaborative book project, Not A Thing Of The Past. Their writing explores how legacies of injustice evolve over time, the consequences resulting from these legacies, and the many movements around the globe that have tried to repair the damage these legacies create.
Inga and Kelsey’s vision at The Hive is to create an empowering and safe space where they can collaboratively write with you - our community! With your help, they hope to uncover the ways America's own legacies of injustice have shaped our experiences and generate pathways for achieving individual, collective, and national healing for all. This interactive workshop is a part of that vision.
