Are you a musician? Learn the steps you need to take to protect your musical compositions and performances, and collect ALL of the money they can generate.
Musicians work hard and help make our world a better place to live through their creations. However, musicians often struggle to make sense of the business landscape surrounding their work. Music Education Specialist, Andy Rumsey, provides a break down of your inherent rights as a songwriter/performer and the organizations which exist to help protect those rights and ensure you collect the profits to which you are entitled.
Andy is joined by the Intellectual Property Clinic at Gonzaga University School of Law, who will explain Copyright, Patents, and Trademarks. Learn how to register your works and receive enhanced protection from bad actors who might try taking credit for, and profiting from, your hard work.
