Hands can be tricky, but we've got you covered! Learn how to break them down into simple shapes, capture movement, and draw hands with confidence in this fun and hands-on class.

Hands are weird—but you can learn to draw them! In this fun and interactive class, you'll break hands down into simple shapes, explore movement and gestures, and practice drawing different poses. Through guided exercises, you'll gain confidence in sketching hands from various angles, capturing details like knuckles and fingers, and making them look natural. Whether you've struggled with drawing hands before or just want to improve, this class will help you tackle one of the trickiest parts of figure drawing. Get ready to sketch, experiment, and master the art of drawing hands!

Draw It Real is part of a weekly series in the month of May. Attend one session for a specific lesson or all four for a comprehensive drawing experience when capturing the human form. 

This library program is a time-strict, registered program. This means the program begins immediately at its start time and arriving late is not recommended.

This program is intended for teens ages 13-18, and they do not need to be accompanied by their grown-up.
