Do you set a reading goal? Artist-in-Residence and book lover, Rachael Chambers will share techniques for digging deeper, sparking critical thought, and remembering books long after you’ve read them.
What are you reading this year? Do you set a reading goal?
When Hive Artist-in-Residence Rachael Chambers is not painting, working or lifting weights you can often find her curled up with a book. She read A LOT! Over the years, she's developed a system that helps her remember books better and allows her to be able to discuss them with confidence (even years after finishing them). It has brought a lot of joy to her in being able to remember the books, relate them to other books or real-world experiences, and confidently recommend them to other readers.
During this workshop, Rachael will share her methods, tricks and knowledge for book retention. You can also start a book journal (provided) that you can decorate and set goals in. Come talk about books and how we enjoy them and remember them! How many books will you read this year?
Registration is not required but helpful, so we know how many people to plan for.
