Informational discussion on ways to display art, sell art, apply to art opportunities, and/or building a cohesive portfolio with templates on submission materials.
So you made some art pieces and want to figure out next steps to grow and develop as a young artist. We will do an overview on the different channels an artist can take. Whether it is looking at how to sell your art, display it in public spaces, apply to art opportunities and calls, or you are unsure and just curious as to what is out there and what missing pieces you need to take your artistic practice to the next level. Bringing your current portfolio of work is encouraged but not necessary.
This workshop is geared towards 17-18 year olds, but younger teens are welcome join and learn. It just might be a few years before some areas become available such as applying to art school, or submitting proposals to public art opportunities.
