Want to start a sketchbook practice? This fun and informative workshop is for you!
Amalia Fisch is one of the Hive's Artists-In-Residence. During her time at the Hive she will be working on a series of small paintings as well as one very large painting. She works in her sketchbooks regularly and loves the practice. In this workshop, she will show you how to start and maintain a sketchbook practice. She'll show samples, and share inspiration and tips to maintain your practice.
Various art materials will be available during the workshop but bring your own if you want something specific. Please bring a sketchbook that you love and will want to work on. Size is up to you. If you don’t have a sketchbook, please contact Eva at The Hive. No art skills required!
About sketchbooks: Ideally, you want a sketchbook that has 90 lb paper or higher. This will allow you more options in terms of mark-making.
Registration required.
