Peers Empower Peers 6th Annual Conference
It Takes A Village
Saturday, June 01
10:00am - 3:30pm
Experience a day of empowerment and community support! You'll find a variety of resources, educational workshops, self-care activities, free lunch, self-care prizes, and more.
Having peers who understand your situation is crucial when overcoming obstacles, particularly for individuals struggling with homelessness or addiction. Peer support provides understanding, empathy, and camaraderie that can be transformative in navigating challenges and fostering a sense of belonging and hope. Join us for the Peers Empower Peers 6th Annual Conference to be a part of the following:
- Resource Fair: Explore a diverse array of partner organizations offering support and assistance for unhoused or vulnerable individuals, along with networking opportunities for professionals
- Engagement Rooms: Enjoy two specialized spaces on the first floor:
- Makeover Space: Access free showers, haircuts, new clothing, and hygiene items
- Self-Care Room: Engage in yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and other self-care activities
- Family Zone: Discover resources and activities for families near the children’s playspace
- Educational Workshops: Attend informative workshops and hear inspiring success stories on the third floor
You can also enjoy free lunch and have a chance at winning some self-care prizes!
Don't miss this opportunity to connect, learn, and empower each other. It truly takes a village to make a difference!
