Join us to learn about photography basics with local photographer Mike Midkiff.
Do you have to buy an expensive camera and equipment to get great pictures? Will your smart phone give you what you want? Do you need photo editing applications or software to get the look you want?
Participants will learn the basics of creating a great picture using the camera on your phone or digital and mirrorless cameras. We will dip our feet in the deep waters of picture composition, lighting, lenses, and tripods. We will learn what shutter speed and aperture are. We will talk about post-production editing and learn about resources that are free or relatively inexpensive.
By attending library programs, you are agreeing to potentially appear in photos/videos taken at our locations that may be used in promotional materials including social media.
