We'll design a cookie cutter to be 3D printed and picked up later. Children under 10 should be accompanied by a caregiver.
3D printing is an additive manufacturing process that has been brought into homes and libraries by portable 3D printers that use plastic filament. Attendees will be able to design a cookie cutter that will be printed out of food-safe plastic and picked up later. Skills needed for this event: reading, typing, and using a mouse. We ask for caregivers to assist if children are building these skills.
This event is age appropriate for ages 8-18. Children under 10 should be accompanied by a caregiver to assist in the learning.
We strive to make events welcoming for people of all abilities. To request accommodations (i.e. hearing assistance, ASL requests, or other ADA inquiries), email sday@spokanelibrary.org.
