In Art Detectives: The Great Color Caper, tweens are invited to step into the shoes of art detectives to solve this intriguing mystery. Edward Hopper's iconic "Nighthawks" painting has had its colors stolen, leaving it lifeless and incomplete. Participants must work together to solve a series of riddles and clues scattered throughout the room, each leading them closer to recovering the 5 missing vials of color. This engaging and interactive program not only sharpens problem-solving and teamwork skills but also deepens their appreciation for art and creativity. Join us in this exciting adventure to restore the vibrant hues of "Nighthawks" and bring the masterpiece back to life!
What is this? It is a mix of the game Clue and escape rooms with an art-focused theme.
This library program is a time-strict program. This means the program begins immediately at its start time and arriving late is not recommended.
This program is intended for kids ages 9-13 and do not need to be accompanied by their grownup.
