Learn the basics of block printing, design your own stamps, and create your own prints.
The art of block printing is a practice that can be easily and inexpensively replicated at home. Come create a series of eye-catching black and white prints using rubber linoleum, or make your own stamps using materials as simple as pink pearl erasers!
This hands-on program will give participants an introduction to the basics of printmaking. Buying rubber stamps can be expensive and you may not get what you really want. With this skill, you can customize your stamp and learn a new skill.
Carly and Lily will be offering papermaking the previous week in case you want to sign up for that program as well and then print on your handmade paper.
All materials will be supplied. Appropriate for teens and adults.
By attending library programs, you are agreeing to potentially appear in photos/videos taken at our locations that may be used in promotional materials including social media.
