Shadle Park EventsDrop in to explore winter-themed STEM challenges. Children under 8 should be accompanied by a caregiver to assist in the activities.
Join us for these winter-themed STEM challenges:
- Can you engineer a way to safely mail two candy canes without breaking them?
- Can you build a paper snowman that's taller than anyone else's?
- Can you imitate a snowflake with beads and pipe cleaners?
- Can you stay as warm as a penguin on the ice?
- Can you find the most waterproof material for your winter boots?
By attending library programs, you are agreeing to potentially appear in photos/videos taken at our locations that may be used in promotional materials including social media.
