Music Learning Session & Discussion

Join Frankie Valinda Ghee for a character-building Around the Piano session with group singing and discussion.

In this session we will:

• Learn and sing at least 2 songs with the group around the piano
• Discuss “Character” and integrity and the words we use to express those concepts
• Share real-life stories of Character in Practice
• Write and share new lyrics to an ATP song
• Write a Personal Code of Character and a plan to live better because of it.

 With this ATP Session, we hope participants will have a positive experience with group singing and growth in the following areas:

1. Appreciation of music as tool- for communication, improving health and wellbeing, expressing, and preserving culture, connecting diverse populations, teaching concepts, and sharing stories
2. Self-awareness through inquiry and exploration of a Personal Code of Character
3. Group synergy/team building through increased empathy, cooperation, and collaboration
4. Improvisation and creative problem solving
5. Increased individual confidence and feeling of acceptance within the group setting
6. More Joy, more laughter, more music
