Inspired by Spokane Is Reading's selection of "Lesser Known Monsters of the 21st Century," author Sharma Shields will guide writers of all ages in the art of crafting monster tales.
In the spirit of this year's Spokane Is Reading selection, Lesser Known Monsters of the 21st Century by Seattle writer Kim Fu, local author and Writing Education Specialist Sharma Shields will give a fun, generative writing workshop where kids, teens, and adults alike can craft their own original monster stories. We'll start out the workshop by discussing some of our favorite monsters from literature. This will be an exciting and generative writing workshop for the whole family!
