Join us as Sustainability Historian Monica Stenzel serves up an abundance of tales about fruits of the field and witches who are rotten to the core.
Fruits are bountiful in our folk and fairytales, myths, and religious traditions. Though the "apple of your eye" is someone sweet, Snow White's stepmother may have something else in mind.
Professor Monica J. Stenzel teaches at Eastern Washington University for the Honors Program. She has advanced degrees in history and musicology, and researches connections between food, material culture, and witchcraft.
