Learn to simplify portrait drawing with Artist-In-Residence Becky Busi

In this two-part workshop, Artist-In-Residence Becky Busi will take participants through steps for foundational portrait drawing and take the mystery out of successful portraiture.

Becky has been drawing faces for many years and incorporates them into her own art. Her current series of drawings show distorted faces with the foundation of accurate facial structure. Learning to draw portraits accurately was her first step before altering them for a creative message.

Please bring a black and white close-up photo of a face, at least 8x10. If needed, you can email your image and we will print it out before class. All other supplies are provided.

Drawing experience is not required - you only need the desire to learn! Please plan on attending both sessions.
