We'll learn about solar eclipses and about the annular solar eclipse that will occur on Saturday, October 14. It will be partly visible here in Spokane!
Solar eclipses occur when the moon blocks some or all of the sun's light from falling on a particular path along earth's surface. On Saturday, October 14, from about 8-11am, an exciting partial annular solar eclipse will occur that will be partly visible here in the Inland Northwest. Kids will learn about the eclipse and how to safely observe it.
