Prepare for deep relaxation through sound healing, a practice thousands of years old! Please bring a mat or blanket to rest on and a pillow. For ages 18 and older.
Sound healing has been around for thousands of years, and works on our physical body, emotional body, and energetic body. When sound frequencies pass through our bodies, which are primarily made up of water, they create coherency on a cellular level, which can reduce pain and create an environment of healing. Dacia uses crystal bowls, chimes, drums, gongs, and tuning forks. Because of the delicacy of the instruments, this would be for people over the age of 18. Bring a pillow and a blanket from home to facilitate deep rest. Also, a yoga mat, or a camp pad to rest upon would be helpful.
Dacia is a yoga instructor and has a Sound Healing Certification. She currently offers sound baths at Eclipse Power Yoga once a month.
