Listen to the amazing story of one woman's journey from being a child in a leprosy colony in the jungles of Thailand to being a successful businesswoman and artist in the U.S. today.
Although a healthy child, by unusual circumstances, Suwanee grew up in a leprosy colony in the jungle of Thailand, deemed to have a life of desolate isolation. But fate intervened years later and she landed in U.S. Although the two worlds seem irreconcilable, Suwannee finds a way to keep her love and gratitude burning for the place that nourished her early life.
Hear how her recent return to the leprosy colony and her compassion are helping her place of origin.
This talk is immediately followed by a Thai food cooking demonstration by Suwanee.
Suwanee is an accomplished chef, food blogger, and professional photographer. To find out more about her, visit www.simplysuwanee.com.
